Our latest collection landed this week. We thought we’d walk you through the new pieces and the intricate details that make each style so very special.
Verity, our designer, has carefully hand-drawn its unique spotty print and chosen a beautifully laid-back rust colour to complement your bohemian wardrobe.
Desert Sand was inspired by Verity’s childhood growing up in Namaqualand in South Africa. Picture it: care-free days playing in the wild streets of a small diamond mining town, set against mountain-sized sand dunes blowing into the ocean.
She wanted to sprinkle some of that nostalgic magic into this new collection.
Tunic Dress Desert Sand
Let’s start with this adventure-ready style. The
tunic dress is such an easy, effortless piece; simply throw a belt around for a slouchy bohemian look or layer up in the cooler months with tights and boots.
Featuring relaxed sleeves and a loose fit, this dress is beautifully flattering on a range of shapes, and also makes for a gorgeous bump-friendly style too, complete with coconut shell button details and elegant pleats in the front and back body.
Kara Top Desert Sand
Such a classic D&D style, the
Kara top was inspired by the woman it’s named after and dear friend of Verity’s. It’s a fun and flirty piece that looks great worn with a midi skirt or your favourite pair of jeans.
With a handmade front tie fastening, it’s also ideal for easy breastfeeding. This top is slightly cropped in length, features short cap sleeves and has a fabulous frill all around the hem.
Mini Skirt Desert Sand
A seriously cute
mini skirt style that’s so perfect for every day. You won’t be able to stop yourself from twirling in this! The Desert Sand print works so wonderfully here and provides a great colour palette to match with your bohemian wardrobe.
Or pair with either the Kara top or Viola top from the collection if you love the two-piece look like we do. Made from soft rayon, this skirt features a gorgeous elastic shirring waist, tiered skirt panels and is mini in length.
Graceland Skirt Desert Sand
Another beloved D&D design that has been around for years, the
Graceland skirt features a stunning, extra wide waistband with shirred elastic detailing that is not only beautiful but super comfy and flattering on the tummy too.
The side splits give this casual piece a bit of a sexy edge and enables this skirt to be perfect for date night or simply chilling on the beach. We also sometimes love to tie a knot at the bottom, so the skirt comes up slightly higher at the front for an alternative way to wear.
Linen Viola Top Desert Sand
The
Viola top features the dreamiest puff sleeves that can be worn on or off the shoulder depending on your desired look, and ruched detail in the back body. Made from super soft, natural linen, this romantic style is so elegant and works wonderfully well in summer thanks to its natural breathability.
Style the Viola top with either the mini skirt or Graceland skirt from the collection, your favourite pair of jeans (we personally love the combination of textures of linen and denim), or plain coloured shorts for a gorgeous bohemian look.
Linen Overalls Desert Sand
We strongly believe that every wardrobe should have at least one pair of high-quality linen overalls. This super relaxed look is really easy to wear over a simple white tee or long sleeve basic.
Featuring front clip, adjustable straps (which are also ideal for easy breastfeeding), pocket details, and natural coconut shell buttons. Our linen overalls have a relaxed body, are soft to touch and will last you a lifetime.
Desert Sand Swimwear & Beach Sarong
Our swimwear is made from 100% Econyl which is made from recycled materials such as fishing nets.
