A bit about you, where are you from? What's it like?  

My name is Amanda and I’m a 23 year old sun seeking vintage lover from Stockholm Sweden.

Stockholm is a quite cold and grey place 65% of the time,  however it’s really loving and charming during summer! 

Many people don’t know this but Sweden has around three thousand islands located outside of Stockholm. It’s called the Stockholm archipelago and it is my favorite place on earth. It’s a calm, mysterious and peaceful landscape covered with small islands - The perfect place to escape the hectic city! 

You've recently lived in Byron Bay, Australia, what did you love about the town? 

Everything

What is your secret passion? 

Dance  ... and gift wrapping

 You obviously love to travel, what are your 3 top destinations and why? 

- Burma is one of the most magnificent places I have ever been to. It is so unexplored and the people are amazing. And the landscpape … I have no words for it! I will never forget that trip! 

- A new favorite spot is Lofoten in Norway. I have never seen anything like it – turqouise water meets huge funny looking hills meets snow meets mysterious fjords meets midnight sun (yep, the sun NEVER goes down).

It actually felt quite surreal road tripping around there! Kind of like I was in the middle of a lord of the rings movie and a Jay Alvarrez instagram picture the entire trip..  

We love that the Kenya skirt made it into your luggage for your trip to Majorca! Any travel tips for Majorca? 

Majorca would probably be my third top destination. It is such a romantic, colorful and picturesque spot on the worldmap. White cliffs, crystal clear water, beautiful language, fantastic food and not to mention - the sangria! 

If you are ever there make sure to rent a car and drive to Sa Calobra! 

Tell us how you like to style the Kenya skirt?

I would love to be barefoot in the Kenya skirt. Barefoot on a beach somewhere next to the Mediterranean Sea - wearing nothing but the skirt, a bikini and a big fat vintage sun hat. 

What does the fabric feel like? 

 It's really soft to touch but has quite a nice weight to it so the skirt falls against your body when you wear it.

Coffee or Chai?

Chai (!!!!!) 

What would you say your signature style is? 

When I lived back in Byron I was way more boho. Nowadays I would probably describe my style as ”Vintage City with a touch of the Mediterranean”. Haha I love hats, denim, sloppy shirts, boots, vintage sunnies and a little splash of color - if that describes it better.

I feel so inspired after my trips to Italy and France this summer ;) 

Favourite shoe brand at the moment? or jewellery brand? or hat brand? 

Hmm since I am a huge huge fan of vintage,  I usually don’t have a specific favourite brand. I do love ”Lack of Color” hats though.
