A Guide to the most Creative Drinks in Byron Bay
From Matcha Latte's to Craft Beer and everything in between, we’ve got you covered.
Read on to discover the locations of Byron Bay’s hottest drink spots.
Folk – Matcha lattes
Swap your usual latte for something a little different at Folk, it will feel right once you’re nestled in amongst the 70’s vibe decor. Try one of the nurturing lattes on nut milk, perfect for a warming feeling on these winter mornings. You also can’t go wrong with a beetroot or maca latte from Folk either. It’s a little further out of town, but trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.
Combi – Smoothies
Quite frankly, there’s no one else in Byron that does a smoothie like Combi. Not only do they taste amazing, but they look beautiful too. Their extensive list has something to suit everyone and most options are vegan and gluten free which is great for the health conscious. Try the Shine On to feel glowing or the Velvet Cacao for a little afternoon treat.
Roadhouse – Elixir brews
Roadhouse has a number of delicious elixir brews that make you feel good inside just from reading the ingredients. Elixir brews are known for their medicinal purposes, so head down to the Roady for your fix. We recommend the Roady Golden Mylk.
BayLeaf – Experimental brews
Treat yourself to one of Bayleaf Café’s build your own brew, take the Coconut Cold Brew for example. This comes equipped with your cold crew coffee, coconut milk in a separate container and coconut shavings and petal leaves to decorate to your very own taste.
Mez Club – Signature Cocktails
Here, they pretty much have you covered, whatever taste you’re after, but it’s the signature Turkish Dream that has us hooked. This beauty is created with a locally produced Turkish delight liquor. The dreamy décor of the Mez Club truly makes you feel like you are in the Mediterranean so sit back, relax and enjoy. The happy hour is pretty awesome too.
Beach Byron Bay – Apertivo drinks with a view
Beach cannot be beaten for the most magical sunset drink in Byron Bay. Sitting out on ‘The Deck’ you will enjoy uninterrupted beachfront views looking straight out onto Clarke’s beach. It’s still whale season too, so keep your eyes peeled for some breath-taking shows. Try Beach’s Espresso Martini or a simple Aperol Spritz to accompany your dreamy sunset hour.

The Rails – Craft Beers
This is a true local favourite so don’t miss this one! We love hitting The Rails for their ever-changing craft beer list and the *free* live music. Try one of the 20 brews on tap and soak up the sunshine in the beer garden. Beer flavours at the minute include; Balter XPA, Serpents Kiss Watermelon Pilsner and Pink Mist Raspberry Saison…now I know you want to try that last one. The amazing laid-back vibe of The Rails will make you feel right at home.
Enjoy! Y xo
